Chef Ray Garcia of FIG Restaurant in Santa Monica joined St. Vincent Meals on Wheels Foundation Executive Director Daryl Twerdahl in the studio of FM 100.3’s community affairs show 5900 Wilshire to discuss the St. Vincent Meals on Wheels Cart for a Cause Cookbookfeaturing a recipe by Chef Garcia, the upcoming Evening on the Beach Event and the importance of community service in Los Angeles. Chef Garcia shared his admiration for SVMOW Founder Sister Alice Marie Quinn who oversees the preparation and delivery of over 4,700 meals everyday to homebound and hungry seniors.
